The entire Ramayana is really a story about the importance of consent. Ravana (due to a prior curse) also pleads with Sita for consent (Which she refuses).

Consent is central to Indic sexual morality. Which is why it is forcible abduction classified as "rakshasa."

Contrast this with repeated description of sex slavery and abduction in the Hadith, where consent is not even considered. Allah himself makes clear that "women under the right hand"(slave-grils)i.e. those held captive by force, are "lawful" for sex. Their consent is irrelevant.
Women are considered "war booty" by both the god of the Quran as well as the god of the Bible.

Those that say that it is for "those times" must first explain whether these religions are applicable to today and whether their god has changed.

The god of the Bible commands:
Can you explain what part is "misrepresentation", I will delete. Are you denying that women are "war booty" in several hadith or "women under the right hand" is not in the Quran?

Aren't you insulting Islam by denying the word of Allah?

@Sanjay_Dixit

@Sanjay_Dixit It is a description, not a prescription.

For example, sex slavery in your Holy Book would be considered the act of Rakshasas (Rakshasas marriage), "bride price" (mehar) would be considered Asura.

So you'd be classified as Rakshasas and Asuras. Get it?

@Sanjay_Dixit Bonus points @ryder_bey if you can explain the difference between a descriptive system and a prescriptive system.

Here is a little cheat sheet.

Now homework. Is "lawful to you are women under the right hand" descriptive or prescriptive?

Ravana is a Raskhasa, a villain in the piece. Of course he is an adharmi. There is nothing “modern” about consent.

Rama wages war because Sita is abducted without consent.

Ravana is cursed for a prior rape. This shows importance of consent.

He is lying through his teeth that Islam stopped war booty. There are numerous Hadith where the prophet himself gets newly captive women as sex slaves. Research it yourself.

If I give you a Hadith which says new captive sex slaves were captured with your prophet’s assent, will you agree this guy is lying? Or are you fact proof?

Since @kaunaIslam has run away after posting a video where an Islamic scholar blatantly lies that Islam "ended" capture of women as war booty, here is a list of multiple hadiths where the prophet assents to sex slavery—it certainly wasn't ended by Islam.

Absolutely, to clarify my first tweet.

Ravan is a Rakshas—his abduction of Sita shows his Rakshas vritti. Violating consent is "rakshas vivah", demonic—this is how central consent is in Indic traditions. In others, a "prophet" routinely violates it.

Bhishma didn't marry them or have intercourse with them, so no, it doesn't come under that. In fact, they *wanted* him to marry them. So, no.
