1. Turley just veered from "correct argument, but disingenuous since he is rewarding obstruction," to "he knows better & is being a hack."

The "it's not bribery because it doesnt match the example given by the founders is absurd. By that argument, *all* bribery is not bribery...
2...unless the President is receiving money and mistresses for a treaty. The standard is "a thing of value in exchange for an official act." There is no doubt that the *announcement* of a Biden/DNC investigation - which remember, is ALL Trump wanted - was a thing of value....
3...as well as potentially an unlawful in-kind political contribution provided in exchange for an official act (whether a White House meeting or military aid).

Turley is bending himself into a pretzel to make a ridiculous argument. I no longer accept his positions as objective.

2...what should be the approach. Trump *should* be impeached now, but not for the totality of the case. He is obstructing justice. He is impeding rightful exercise of Constituitional authority of the House. *This* is why the case is less robust than it should be. Obstruction...
3...should not be rewarded by saying "oh, well, the case hasn't heard from all the witnesses." It's like saying "Well, Joe murdered the witness, so we can't indict him for rape." No, you charge for murder, and keep investigating the rape.....
