Doesn’t matter what the Dems write. 4 facts will never change:

-The call transcript shows no linkage
-President Trump and President Zelensky both say no pressure
-Ukraine didn’t know aid was held up at the time of the call
-Ukraine never took any action to get aid released (1/3)
Between July 18th when aid was paused and Sept 11th when it was released, there were 5 interactions between President Zelensky and senior American officials.

Aid was never tied to investigations in any of those discussions.
2 of those 5 meetings happened AFTER Ukraine learned aid was paused:

-VP Pence met President Zelensky on 9/1
-Sens. Johnson and Murphy met Zelensky on 9/5

If ever the “quid pro quo” was going to come up, 1 of these 2 meetings would’ve been the time. But it didn’t! (3/3)

There has been a lot of noise since @SpeakerPelosi decided to call for impeachment before having the facts. Here are a few important questions:
Why did the “whistleblower” write an 800+ word memo describing President Trump and President Zelensky’s call based on second-hand information gleaned from a conversation that lasted just a few minutes?
Why did the “whistleblower” wait 18 days to file the complaint after describing the call as “frightening” in their memo?

The two witnesses up are Bill Taylor (who was drafted in as America’s top Ukraine official when the old ambassador was forced out earlier this year) and George Kent (a senior State Department official who oversaw Ukraine).

Because their strategy to remove Trump from office by getting a Special Counsel appointed to find evidence to use for impeachment so utterly failed, Democrats frantically searched for the past several months trying to find something that could replace it.
It now seems Democrats think they have at last found a real scandal they can use to move forward with impeachment hearings in the House.

Bill Clinton signed this agreement and it calls for the US to ask Ukraine to work with our Attorney General when issues of potential criminality are identified.

The fact that some of those identified as potential criminals are political rivals of Trump is not relevant
