That is an immensely revealing slip of the tongue.
It sounded like 'colour' to me, not talent. But hard to check now that Channel 4 have taken it down. Couldn't they have just said 'there's disagreement about what he's saying - make your own mind up?'
To his defence: 'People of colour' doesn't sound like the kind of phrase he'd use, whereas 'people of talent' is the nonsense they're always saying.
It's still up here. I have now heard that clip ten times and my brain hears both talent and colour, very convincingly, on different goes. It's like one of those visual image tricks.
Anyway, I think that's probably benefit of the doubt territory there.
Quite enjoying my Twitter feed splitting pretty much 50/50 on people insisting it is DEFINITELY talent or colour. It's like that dress thing all over again, but terrible.
