Divisive, hateful crap from a man who peddles little else. No matter what happens this week, we don't let up the fight on this. EU citizens are our friends. This is their home. We stand beside them.
Other thing to add here. For years anti-immigrant campaigners said migrants wouldn't integrate. But then if they do integrate, they're accused of 'treating the UK like their own country'.
You can't win. And the reason you can't win is because, in many cases, these concerns about immigration are not actually 'genuine'. They're motivated by wrong-headed mean-spiritedness and unfounded resentment.
