Federal death penalty stay is temporary only and issued w/ 3 Justices in agreement...Alito, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch w/ Alito writing the opinion to allow the process to proceed properly through DC Court of Appeals.

Roberts referred the opinion to them.

Defendant fired remaining attorney last hearing.
Judge sends letter to fired attorney hoping it's forwarded.
