Thoughts:
The degree of secrecy and defiant refusal to account for his fundraising suggests concealment of something beyond the mundane DLC/Wall St./Insurance/Tech corruption that, while concerning, is still fairly normalized. What would be more disqualifying would be (5/8)

...further revelations of ties to actual Republicans who are disenchanted with Donald Trump's reckless stewardship of the brand and increasingly trying to migrate into and convert the Democratic Party into yesterday's pre-Trump GOP. It would be consistent with his embrace (6/8)
...of traditional Republican talking points about deficits, means-testing, Christian faith, patriotism, and ambiguous critiques of Clinton & Obama. Recall he was last caught using Brett Kavanaugh's lawyers as fundraisers.
