1. With redactions and FBI/DOJ names predictably goint ot be omitted from pending IG report release here's some personnel names to keep in mind while reviewing.
2. Kevin Clinesmith will be the FBI attorney who assembled the underlying FBI evidence for the FISA application against Carter Page.

Clinesmith then hands it off to Sally Moyer.
3. Sally Moyer was FBI unit chief in the Office of General Counsel (counterintel legal unit within the FBI Office of General Counsel). It was Moyer's job to include the citations in the FBI application [Woods File Verification]

Moyer then hands to Tashina Guahar in Main Justice.
SIDEBAR: Inside FBI legal... Sally Moyer, FBI unit chief in the Office of General Counsel (counterintelligence legal unit within the FBI Office of General Counsel), reports to Trisha Beth Anderson, who was deputy legal counsel to James Baker. Baker WAS Chief Legal Counsel FBI
4. The FISA application in Main Justice is then handled by Tashina "Tash" Guahar.

Tashina Guahar, Deputy Assistant Attorney General (DAAG) in the Department of Justice National Security Division (DOJ-NSD)
5. Tashina Guahar has responsibility over the assembly of FISA applications in Main Justice. In essence, Tashina Guahar is the working Main Justice FISA lawyer inside the DOJ-NSD.
6. Tashina Guahar and Jim Crowell will likely feature heavily on the Main Justice side.

Tashina reviews, verifies and then gains signatures for submission. "Tash" also featured heavily in Page/Strzok texts.
7. FBI Side: Under the Crossfire Hurricane team assembly Kevin Clinesmith (lawyer) reported to Peter Strzok (lead agent).

Strzok supposed to report to Asst. FBI Director CoIntel Bill Priestap, who reports to McCabe then Comey.
8. However, Priestap testified Strzok often went around him.

I enjoy China trade articles that discuss Trump "playing a long game with China" without even realizing Trump achieved the goal months ago. Negotiations are finished. The current status was the goal. Decoupling is underway.
Everything now is controlling how the financial markets (Dow Jones etc.) respond to the decoupling.

Step-by-Step Trump has been slowly been retracting, while simultaneously not losing overall market investment wealth.
What he's looking for now is a firm $50 billion Ag purchase.

The carrot is a delay in the Dec 15th tariffs...

1) Worth considering in advance of the IG Report today.

The FBI can investigate whatever they want to investigate.

Yes, the bar should be higher when it comes to an opposing political campaign.

But the initiation of the FBI investigation is not what this is about.
2) Horowitz's mandate was to investigate FISA Abuse.

Did the FBI abuse it's powers in this regard. Did they mislead the FISA Court. Was exculpatory evidence excluded and were full and proper disclosures made.

We already know that Clinesmith altered docs used in FISA app.
3) The House/Nunes Memo focused on this specific area:

Here are a few things to keep in mind. Much of what the Senate does is by unanimous consent; a whole lot of it is done without a quorum present. Any senator at anytime can note the absence of a quorum and a vote ensues.If Democrats absent themselves,No one will note the absence
If no Dem is there, a. whole lot of bad things can be passed by unanimous consent.If a Dem is there, notes the absence of a quorum & tries to leave, the sergeant at arms can compel the senator to stay. And the Sergeant at arms can be required to try to round up absentees
Here is the bigger dilemma. How do you contest actions taken by the Senate when there was no constitutional quorum present? In the courts. Does anybody think the Roberts court would overturn them? @rickhasen weigh in on this one!

Part of his investigation is into the FBI Vault dump that occurred on October 30th, through November 1st 2016. A little over a week before the election.
