it wasn't the impeachment sham that was the REAL news today. That sitcom still rolls along, with bad writing and declining ratings it's capstone.

No, the IG report just blew it out of the water.

2) The 'resist' movement and their media has pushed a spin that supposedly directs any blame for 'political bias' away from the top Dem officials these people are intent on protecting.

They say there 'is no direct evidence' to show such bias.

But is this true?

3) No, it isn't. The IG, who has limited scope, cannot, for example, call any witnesses who have left government service. This would mean all of the players in the 2016 election were not questioned.

4) What he DID say is that the rules and regulations were at the very least shoddily applied. At least 17 violations were found. None of these were 'accidents'.

Horowitz is concerned with internal reform. This report is NOT a criminal investigation.

5) However, it has sparked one. That is the Barr/Durham affair. Both men have weighed in on the report and have distinct issues with it.

'No direct evidence through witness or other means was found' it states. That was not it's purview in the first place.

6) It did find enough criminal activity -albeit lower echelon- to begin actual investigations. They led AG Barr and Durham to the UK and Italy in pursuit of them.

This is where the real rubber hits the road.

7) One must understand that this is really a counterintelligence operation with criminal activity.

The implications are far reaching. They go to the very foundations of our government. The internal review of an Inspector General is not a very big deal in and of itself.

8) The real 'big deal' is where this leads. Perhaps the likes of Chris Wallace think this to be a final report, that it offers cover to Comey, McCabe, and perhaps the Previous Occupant.

They are as wrong as wrong can be.

9) If nothing else Horowitz did everyone a favor by starting out with the very best possible outcome for the opposition with a veritable slew of possible problems with that conclusion.

This is now in the hands of actual investigators.

10) They have been on this for many months. They are MUCH farther along than indicated. Anyone who thinks this was a good day for the Dems is crazy.

Their path to oblivion was just launched...
