It’s easy to “declare” that u won’t show your papers because u know you won’t go to jail.
Can we pls stop such tokenism & actually focus on the issue at hand instead of trying to be “saviors” as always?

If u are really not worried about going to jail, then I have a better idea of showing solidarity instead of “not showing your papers”.
Go join a protest march. Court arrest. Go door-to-door & educate people on what papers they need to have for the NRC. Help them.

You’ll probably hate me for saying this but please let’s not take away focus from the existential dilemma that Indian Muslims find themselves in today with our tokenism.
No ones checking your papers even if you refuse to show them. You’re not a Muslim.
