LOL - This is both hilarious and repulsive: one of the US's most paranoid, conspiratorial and Kremlin-obsessed journalists complains that there's **too much transparency**. Her excuse (of course) is that it helps Russia; her real reason is it exposes her narrative as a fraud:
I understand there are people who hate transparency & want everything secret based on the paranoid view that transparency helps the Big Bad Enemies.

I understand when people with that mentality go to work for CIA or NSA. I don't understand why they'd become journalists.
It was during the Snowden reporting when I realized just how big Journalists Against Transparency Club is.

I've done reporting in a lot of countries and it's only in the US where journalists take the lead in demanding greater state secrecy & scorning transparency. It's bizarre.
