*Thread* 1/8 A little over ten years ago, I waded into a little-known far left swamp to fish out something that I found extraordinary. It was a videotape of a meeting. It showed a Labour MP calling Hamas and Hezbollah his "friends". Friends!

That MP was Jeremy Corbyn.

2/8 I thought people needed to know about this. So I wrote a blog post, titled "Promoting Violent Extremism". For that is just what Mr Corbyn was doing in 2009, alongside the virulent antisemite Abou Jahjah, a man from Hezbollah, and far-left thugs.

3/8 In the post, I called on Labour to pitch Corbyn into the welcoming arms of his dear comrade George Galloway, then spreading hatred and division through his "Respect" party.

BTW, Corbyn rubbished opponents of antisemitism at the meeting while hailing his "friends". Go, then.

4/8 Labour did no such thing. Corbyn was welcome and safe in the party. So safe that he had a go at winning the Leadership some years later.

5/8 And here we are. A decision that should have taken Labour a few seconds was not taken for a decade.

And it was only the electorate that finally did the job.

6/8 This is a decade of burning shame for the party. It must never happen again. Corbyn and his camp must be ruthlessly rooted out.

It will not be easy. They cling to the party machinery. They care only about controlling the party, not serving it, let alone the country.

7/8 But that is only all the more reason to take them on, turf them out, and build an Opposition worthy of the honourable name.

Which is something we desperately need. One could argue that no cause is more patriotic right now.

So fight them, take them down, kick them out.

8/8 Bury Corbynism, entirely, eternally, and for all to see.

Do not "reflect". Do not prevaricate. Do not tarry.

Do it. Do it now.
