Libraries are the absolute best. I can't believe libraries still exist. If libraries didn't exist and you tried to advocate that we invent one, people would call you a crazy idiot.
I had the stopping thought the other day that while my mom didn't take me to church, she did take me to the public library for hours every week and it was holy for both of us.
In college, I used to hide in the library stacks. I used to spend hours between classes just hiding up in the stacks, reading whatever spoke to me from the spines. That was like my absolute favorite thing to do in college.
