Apparently after countless hours of R&D along with millions of dollars from the investor cult faithful has only produced a product that is not even marginally as capable at self driving as 86yo Grandpa Jones needing cataract surgery after a night of heavy drinking.
This makes summoning an Uber or Lyft a much safer and practical choice for those individuals that are either molared beyond consciousness or just too damn lazy to be concerned with the actual skill of operating a motor vehicle on public roadways.
The expense of autonomous driving technologies could haul your lazy ass around a lot farther if used for ride sharing instead, plus the added benefit of removing one more skill challenged operator from the roadways.
After all, why invest all your hard earned money in a product that you really don’t want to use properly? I recommend public transportation or a chauffeur instead.
