Many are saying: "CAB only affects illegal immigrants, why should legitimate Muslim citizens worry?" It's important to understand why.
The link is the NRC, the National Registry of Citizens. The process has gone on for many years in Assam. Home Minister has announced that it will

be implemented throughout India. So, we should pay attention to what happened in Assam. Please read the attached pamphlet which I wrote.
In short, it's like this:
- Every person has to prove that they are citizen, by producing certain documents to prove that they have been in

the state before 1971.
- The process has been very traumatic, and as it stands, 19 lakh people are out of NRC - to be labeled 'illegal immigrant'. Many of them are genuine citizens but disqualified due to lack of documents. Thousands are already in Detention Camps
- Out of this

11 lakh are Hindus, 4 lakh are Muslim and 4 lakh are other religions.
- Now you see what happens with Citizenship Amendment. The 15 lakh non-Muslims will be accepted as citizens. 4 lakh Muslims will be branded illegal immigrants.
- Among the 4 lakh Muslims are many many who are

genuine Indian citizens. They didnt migrate from Bangladesh after 1971, they are born and brought up here.
Think about these lakhs of genuine Indian citizens who are branded illegal migrant by NRC process*
They will be thrown out if they are Muslim, they will be made citizens if

they are non-Muslim.
