I am acting for Harry’s parents led by Geoffrey Robertson QC instructed by @MarksLarks. We are challenging the Foreign Office’s actions in advising the police that Anne Sacoolas had diplomatic immunity. More details here 👇🏼
The CPS statement also says that extradition proceedings (to bring Anne Sacoolas back to the U.K.) are now underway.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Secretary has said that an “anomaly” meant that family members of officers in the base had greater protection from prosecution than the officers themselves. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan… 
Our case in the judicial review is that Anne Sacoolas never has immunity as the secret UK-US agreement for RAF Croughton did not grant it and in any case under international law/prerogative powers it is not possible to grant family members more immunities than the actual diplomat
Interestingly, the CPS appear to have concluded the same (from the BBC report). But not clear as this doesn’t come from the press release

The Americans have now said that Anne Sacoolas had immunity at the time of the crash and therefore a request for extradition under these circumstances "would be an egregious abuse" bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…
