The kamikaze battleplan.

“t took an awful long time for the True Believers in the Jeremy Corbyn project to accept that their dream of gaining power on the back of an unarguably Socialist ticket was in ruins.”

From what I see on Twitter many still don’t.

Just look at who was involved in the daily strategic conference call and you need to look no further as to how it went so wrong.

Where were the other remain voices.

They shut them out so they would not be contradicted, thus compounding error on error.
That then led to this extra layer of foolishness.

More of the same, just when they needed to draw back, rethink and regroup.
Implausible costings mean it’s made their spending plans were not credible.

And they were packaged in unattractive Corbyn wrapping.
Those at the core of the planning simply would not believe the polling.

Hubris. That arises out of a failure to listen to the shouts of disagreement and pain audible to everyone else.
What next?

What next indeed.

If Labour is to survive it needs to be led by people with far more credibility and far FAR better at building bridges with other left of centre parties.

The stronger that is, the more likely they will recover.
