You know #Iran's regime is knee-deep in crisis when two known Tehran apologists/lobbyists (@vali_nasr & @AliVaez) write an NYT piece desperately begging for negotiations with the U.S.

Get to know @AliVaez.
He is a known protégé of former Iranian president Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

And here are @vali_nasr's views about Iranian President @HassanRouhani & Foreign Minister @JZarif, claiming they enjoy support form the Iranian people.

And I'm not surprised about NYT publishing such a piece pushing Tehran's talking points.
For those interested, this thread sheds more light on NYT's direct connection to the mullahs' regime in Iran.
