FISA Court news: Judge Rosemary Collyer, who I am told has health issues, will step down early as presiding judge & Chief Justice Roberts has tapped Judge James Boasberg to take over that role in the new year. (Collyer will apparently remain a FISA judge; her term ends in March.)
Also the FISA Court has made public a Dec 5 order related to the IG report about the botched Page FISA. Its existence was referenced in the extraordinary order the court issued earlier this week rebuking the FBI and demanding a proposal for reforms. fisc.uscourts.gov/sites/default/…

Yeah. Some judges just up and ORDERED the FBI to conduct a spying operation.

@Comey's is the greasy slimey misdirection of the guilty. The FISA Court AUTHORIZED or APPROVED the surveillance; if an application or request from the #ObamaDOJ or the #ObamaFBI had not instigated it, there would have been no FISA surveillance.
@Comey can't wash the stain of his grotesquely anti-American conduct off his hands, and he surely cannot succeed in attempting to deflect responsibility to the #FISA #Court.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court DENIES the stay requested by Crossroads GPS in its challenge to keep donors secret, vacating the stay entered by Chief Justice Roberts over the weekend.
Here was my thread going through this case from over the weekend:
There are no noted dissents, making it pretty clear that the Chief Justice's action over the weekend was more about keeping the district court's ruling from going into effect (as it was set to do Monday) until the full court could reach a resolution on the stay request.
