And how, exactly, do we determine the difference between “real trans women” and exploitative men? You spoke up for women’s sports before, @rickygervais . Are the males dominating women’s events “real” or just bad men? And how do we know which TW to stop entering our spaces?
The “real trans” narrative is useless in practice. A trans-ID’d with good intentions invades our privacy and derails competitive fairness just as much as a mean one. It’s ridiculous to say that *some* males don’t have to respect women’s boundaries or honor our reality.
If you didn’t have the fortitude to stick to the truth, @rickygervais , you should have stayed out of it. This is the same watered-down non-position that we see everywhere. How, from this perspective, do you fight for women’s spaces & rights? Where’s the logic?
I get how hard it is to stand up for women rn. I know what it costs. But, if you were going to cave like this, you should’ve jusr stayed out of it. You’re a man, @rickygervais , and women’s spaces, our WORDS, aren’t for you to give away. You do NOT get to tell us what a woman is.
Want to advocate for women, @rickygervais ? Your positions on OUR issues should be informed by ONLY OUR rights & interests. Our boundaries aren’t on the table. We aren’t fodder for woke negotiation. Our line is drawn at NO lost safety, rights, or opportunity to imaginative men.
If it moves us backwards, it isn’t feminism.

If it makes male experiences the decider on FEMALE issues, it isn’t feminism.

If it crumples at the first challenge from advocates for male domination, it sure as hell isn’t feminism.

Toughen up or stay out of it, @rickygervais
