Contrary to popular belief, there really are more than two genders.Many people with sex chromosome variations don't know they have it, or find out later in life. Some are born with ambiguous genitals, and some look like one gender or another but their chromosomes are different.

These conditions are far more common than people think. People who have them either don't know it or don't discuss it. I personally know two people with these conditions, and I probably know more but am not aware of it. It's nobody's business but theirs anyway.
So when people claim that there are only two genders, they're showing their ignorance and their transphobia. Everyone deserves respect, privacy, dignity, love, equal access to housing and employment and education and public washroom. Everyone just wants to pee in peace!
If you feel uncomfortable with transgender people, I guarantee it's NOTHING compared to the discomfort and fear they feel every moment of every day, always wondering if they can trust the people around them to treat them like human beings and not bully, attack, or harass them.
If you don't like their pronouns, suck it up. It's not for you to decide on a person's identity. Make a genuine effort! If you slip sometimes, it's usually OK if you apologise and then try to get it right on your next try.
Trump has descided he's going to risk the safety of transgender people by reverting them to their assigned gender at birth. This is WRONG. You can't know a person's gender by looking at their genitals.

Stand up to these hate mongers! Get out and vote! Make it clear that you won't accept the endangerment of millions of people who just want to live as their true selves. Trans rights are human rights!

While certainly true in some cases, many LGBTQ+ adults were not GNC during childhood. These latter cases are usually ignored/viewed as anomalies, probably b/c they don't fit the "sexual inversion" model (e.g., feminized/masculinized brain) that many researchers still cling to...

When I was 12. Maybe 13. I had one good friend that I hung out with. Day In and Day Out. We were inseparable. He stayed with me, I stayed with him. For some reason, even though he was the one who was considered the "bad kid", his parents never really liked me.....cont.
He got in trouble at a young age and was sent away. To where, I've never known. His little brother, a couple years younger, used to get bullied all the time. While my friend was away, I stuck around and protected the little brother. Even stayed and hung out a couple times...cont.
