I've had some people I've been friendly with be outed as doing some pretty awful things during 2019, and it's never easy to realize someone you had faith in is actually really awful, but denying it to yourself and others only makes it worse
No job opportunity or social standing is worth defending a garbage person's ability to be garbage while you're not looking. Just because they did you favors or were nice to *you personally* does not make them good people
