I strongly dislike Bernie.

But I will 100% be voting for him if he becomes the nominee.

However, I will never not deeply resent the bratty, mostly college educated, mostly white dudes, who had a temper-tantrum and couldn’t do that for Hillary in 2016. Kids died because of them.
Agree and it’s a losing predicament for reasonable people every time...because if they don’t get their way they want to burn it all down...and if they get their way we have to be the mature ones...but the first step is getting Trump out. It’s a must.
This is only a logical point to respond with if you truly believe that the differences between McCain vs. Obama were of the same degree as the differences between Hillary vs. Trump.

McCain was flawed, but a patriot who didn’t campaign on white supremacy.

In view of recent... controversies on this platform, let me take the chance to say that I've always been, and will always be, a trans-inclusive feminist. I have never made, and will never make, any apologies for this.
I believe that trans women, being women in every sense of the term, are subject to misogyny, as well as transmisogyny, specifically. This view has been amply defended by better minds than mine, but I regard it as a fundamental premise within my feminist framework.
Misogyny, in my view, is essentially the attempt to police and enforce a patriarchal social order--which, to me, includes the gender binary. The attempt to police and control trans women's bodies is a paradigm case of such misogyny, given my premise above, and this definition.

Nothing against the rest of this article but this claim

"White, suburban women with college degrees fled the party in droves."

This, we have not been able to quantify.

1. We know that white, college educated millennial white women are not becoming Rs like their moms & thus
the suburbs of America, especially in the South, are becoming more D friendly.

2. We know that in 2018 these voters greatly improved their turnout over the 2014 midterms & 2016 & swung suburb and House seats to the Ds (BTW: I'll soon be adding FL, GA, TX, and AZ to my analysis).
3. We know that some of these non-Republican, white college education women are Democrats, BUT some of them are Indies and some of these Indies voted for the GOP in 2016 but voted for the D House candidates in 2018 (this is @yghitza's "Catalist" study. Keep in mind, this study

Americans are once again allowing the Republican and Democrat party divide us over race, when in fact race is not the issue! Please look at the foreign policies these woman support, and the policies they do not support! This is not about race & we must address the real issues!

I ask for Americans to please look at the human policies these woman are addressing. I ask Americans to actually research the US Foreign Policy that causes massive Refugees and Endless War.
I ask Americans to look at who is funding the election campaigns of their representatives. I ask Americans to question why we are continously at war, when it does not benefit the United States! I ask Americans to research the foreign influence that controls US policy!

There's definitely this 2016 echo in the Bernie Sanders campaign -- a desire to prove the race-based smears of that year wrong -- but the reality is Warren creeping up with college-educated whites could spoil them in IA and NH, which would ensure a loss
At the end of the day, an election is won by getting the most votes. It doesn't matter whose votes, you just have to get the most. It might be at the end that Bernie Sanders gets some arbitrary % of some group that they can boast about in media, but lose.
Iowa is fairly predictive of the Democratic nominee and Bernie Sanders is faltering there. The main reason why is Sanders has almost no penetration among older white voters. Not sexy for liberals in online social media circles to talk about but reality en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_cauc…

The insistence by white male writers that there is a two-white-man race out there between Bernie & Beto is so deeply, stunningly misogynist, it takes my breath away.

How is it POSSIBLE that these folks missed the blue wave which was fundamentally female--driven by women voters?
Not just driven by women voters, but driven by women candidates. Left-leaning women candidates, including WOC who ousted long-time older white male incumbents like....Bernie Sanders.

How is anyone missing this fact?
It's a major reason why Sanders' numbers have plummeted.
