There's one road in/out of town but no-one could use it to evacuate. Everyone was ordered to the town wharf to wait out the #bushfire, sitting ready in life jackets.

Later, the #Bushfire jumped the narrows of the town's lake system and headed north to #Eden in #NSW. Light rain late afternoon was too late for many.
