My experience working with #YIMBY has lead me to uncover a few things about @BernieSanders that many will find disturbing -- he has both endorsed and hired many prominent NIMBY in the last few years (in exchange for $$ and influence) and may be a NIMBY himself.

Here's a slightly less charitable article by the @latimes. Some people consider Weinstein to be Satan himself. This is an org that almost everyone hates, regardless if they consider themselves to be liberal or conservative -- they are just that toxic.

@AIDSHealthcare's fall from grace started when they opposed PreP, an HIV medication that works but was smeared by the AHF because it cut into the profits of their competing products -- they are directly responsible for many HIV-related deaths, arguably.

@AndrewYang's healthcare plan actually supports PreP because it works. Will not get into #MedicareForAll arguments here but if @BernieSanders is sympathetic to @AIDSHealthcare then he will be in active opposition to solutions that actually saves lives.

What does this have to do with housing? Well, turns out that #YIMBY advocate @Scott_Wiener got into a fight with Weinstein over this issue (from a #LGBTQ community standpoint) some years ago and they have been feuding ever since.

Since then, @AIDSHealthcare has used its massive funds to get into housing politics, aggressively attacking any #YIMBY or pro-development groups that try to promote housing construction anywhere. They are now the biggest #NIMBY org in all of the US #Yikes

@AIDSHealthcare's biggest sin was the "Negro Removal' flyer that they put out against #SB50, a pro-housing bill that was to come down this year, which was killed through a backdoor process by #NIMBY senators @Portantino and @toniatkins earlier this year.

Both @LondonBreed and @NaacpSf came out against the bill, saying it was "racist" -- using the plight of the #AfricanAmerican experience for political gain. The @AIDSHealthcare has not offered any apology, as of yet. Looking at the flyer, it doesn't take much to see how bad it is.

As proof that the connections between @BernieSanders and @AIDSHealthcare isn't casual, here's one (of many) initiatives that Bernie endorsed, which was financially backed by the AHF. Ironically, these props always lose, even in a liberal state like CA.

To be fair, not *everything* put out by the AHF is unreasonable (only most things) but because they throw out inane, toxic lawsuits like these on a regular basis, nobody trust them anymore. Nowadays they even leave their name off of their own initiatives.

Search on the internet on the various connections between @BernieSanders and the @AIDSHealthcare and you'll find more things that you'd ever want to see. The AHF in particular, has an endless trove of toxicity too many to mention. So again, why are they hanging out together?

Also involved is former NIMBY SF-Supe @JaneKim (who ran against @Scott_Wiener prior) who now works under him as his Bay Area coordinator -- she openly brags about increasing the inclusionary rate to 40% which worsened the housing crisis during her term.

And @BernieSanders has endorsed #NIMBY Berkeley Mayor @JesseArreguin, now famous for its RV ban (which he voted in favor of btw), effectively criminalizing the poor. Shows very poor judgment on his part, imo.

And finally @BernieSanders as a #NIMBY himself. He voted to move nuclear waste away from his own town and dump it in low-income neighborhoods in other states like like Texas and Nevada.

Among the right-wing talking heads, they are already aware of most of these things already, and there is no chance that @BernieSanders will not encounter them against @realDonaldTrump during the general. He's not prepared. More detail in this video here:
