Dark Towers book is out late Feb. There’s an apparent, unfortunate dynamic between wb and journo here. The standards of sourcing are often much higher than wb’s expect when they decide to blow holding docs. (Wylie & Kaiser books also reveal this dynamic.)
I totally get this frustration when you’ve got a hold of forensic proof by a total fluke of fate but since it can’t be fairly easily corroborated 3x-10x it just doesn’t break thru.
ie, Unless you practice journalism at a legit paper, go to j-school, or became a source, the average reader has little appreciation for sourcing standards. So whistleblowers come forth thinking they have the proof needed, but it’s just a key that needs to be matched to a lock.
ex, Both Chris Wylie and Brittany Kaiser bring copious evidence to bear in their books and doc dumps on allegations related to Cambridge Analytica. It’s still not enough to achieve indisputable status.
