For folks surprised that someone on the right like Tucker would oppose Trump's killing of Soleimani, he's been joined by several other folks who occupy his particular lane of "the right." I'll let you determine what the best name for that might be. 
Pat Casey of Identity Evr*pa (CEO of the Movement handle) along with several others in the white nationalist community...all lining up with Tucker on this one.
To be clear, I also think Trump's actions re. Iran were misguided because they are likely to lead to MORE loss of innocent life, have yet to be justified with evidence of some new threat, and risk a potentially uncontrollable escalation.
My only point here was that the only people who find Tucker's anti-war stance surprising, are people who don't understand that he's part of the white nationalist right...which, like Tucker, is adamantly opposed to Trump's assassination of Soleimani.
This is not the moment for some "whoa, Tucker's kind of ok now and is clearly his own man" commentary from centrists or leftists. That is NOT what's going on here.
Flashback to this recent, not-so-great moment in journalism when a center-right writer claimed to give readers a deep look into Tucker's soul, in a piece that completely overlooked the racist circus elephant in the room.
