Only one socio-economic scenario (using geoengineering) takes temperature back down to 1.5°C by 2100. Looks like a fantasy, sadly.

Earth becomes a desert planet at 4°C. This could happen from 2055 and looks relatively likely to happen eventually no matter what (Peter Wadhams from Cambridge University suggests 4C or over looks inevitable). The quicker it happens, the worse it would be.
