Are you a holder of an African passport looking to get a Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) for Nigeria?

Here's what you need to know:
Online applications only.

Before applying you need to have the following:

- Valid Passport with minimum of six months validity
- Valid return ticket
- Address in Nigeria or Hotel Reservation
- Payment card (online payments only)
- Minimum of 72 hours (3 working days) pre-travel
Application Portal: portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/freshVisa

Apply online,submit required docs & pay using a card

Application is processed & approval confirmation/letter emailed within 2 working days(approval mandatory pre-travel)

Arrive at Port of Entry for Biometric Enrolment & Visa Issuance

@nigimmigration IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Nigeria's Visa-on-Arrival is not a 'just show up & pay for a visa at a port of entry' Visa. There are guidelines that need to be followed.
@nigimmigration You will obtain the VoA at a Nigerian port of entry but you need to have paid an applied ONLINE, & received approval PRE-TRAVEL. @nigimmigration promises a 48-hour (2 working days) turnaround time for the required approval.

So I took up this challenge, and found (all open-source information, only requiring a bit of digging and following loose and un-loose ends) a family story that somewhere along the line tangentially involves Russia’s MVD (a KGB sister agency) and the CIA.

The famous, sprawling Ajao Estate in Lagos—and also Papa Ajao— are named after a certain Chief Joseph Adediran (JA) Ajao, a native of Aawe town in present-day Oyo State, who became a successful import-export businessman in Lagos. He was born in 1900 and died in the early 60s.
Chief JA Ajao was one of the biggest landowners in Lagos. All of the land that’s now Ajao Estate was owned by him. And plenty other land as well. If you Google his name you’ll find a number of land-related Court cases from the 60s and 70s, involving his estate.

On 12 October, 2018, Atiku Abubakar, picked Peter Obi, to be his running mate in the 2019 general elections.

Exactly a week after Peter Obi was picked, the infamous separatist, Nnamdi Kanu, resurfaced, having been missing for over a year up to that point.
Not long after, Kanu returned to his mic, to resume what made him infamous in the first place - spilling a lot of bile.

His most recent exercise was to schedule a "referendum on Biafra" same day as the Presidential Elections, and that, is where the cat waltzed out of the bag.

(1) A mass Horde of potential invaders has grown to nearly 15,000. I want to remind the politics over reality @TheDemocrats of the need here and now! This need is from HEROES, AMERICANS, not invaders.
The U.S.(HUD) estimates that 40,056 veterans are homeless on any given night.
(2) 11% of U.S. adult homeless are military veterans.
9% are female. Most are single and suffer from mental illness, alcohol and/or substance abuse, or traumatic disorders.
Nearly 45% of homeless veterans are African American or Hispanic.
Yet @TheDemocrats support this invasion.
(3) 41% are between the ages of 31 and 50.
1.4 million other veterans are considered at risk of homelessness due to poverty, lack of support, and dismal conditions in overcrowded or substandard housing. Yet @TheDemocrats support this invasion and block @realDonaldTrump's wall!

A deadline to Nigeria to separate its National Financial Intelligence Unit from the EFCC lapsed yesterday, without Nigeria enacting a law that would have done so. The likely outcome of the Egmont Group’s meeting will be Nigeria’s expulsion from the group.
In July 2017, @EGFIU lost patience with #Nigeria and suspended the NFIU because of @officialEFCC's habit of leaking sensitive financial intelligence to the media.

@officialEFCC had also refused to cooperate in efforts to grant the NFIU operational independence.
