There is an independent entrepreneurial style that characterizes the Evangelicals for Trump. If you can get an audience and raise money from donors, you can be a leader of an "evangelical" organization.
Out of about fifty "Evangelicals for Trump" who have been photographed with Trump, I only count six with a seminary degree (Jack Graham, Robert Jeffress, Richard Land, Jim Garlow, Gregg Matte, and Jack Hibbs). None are currently professors.
