the US State Department publishes an Annual Report on terrorism, state.gov/country-report… each with a Statistical Annex containing estimates of deaths, injuries, kidnapped, attacks, both total and for top 10 (some years 5) organizations. 
2/ remarkably, none of these annual reports include any of Solaimani-associated organizations (or any Shia organizations) in their list of top 10(5) terrorist groups in ANY year.
3/ so, one reason why so few people had previously heard of Soleimani as the supposed #1 terrorist in the world is that his organizations were minor in US State Dept statistics - less apparently than Kurdish PKK, who US protected
