When I was starting my company, we worked for free out of @dmgrossblatt office. His company was swimmingpoolquotes.com and he let 10-15 of us work there for free. It was amazing. He was like Ehrlich Bachman minus (most) of the bad qualities.
It was so much fun. The value worth of companies that came out of there is now hundreds of millions. It was like a dingy playground. We had us, a porn company owned by hacker nerds, a deodorant company, hand bag business, and loads of bitcoin nerds.
It was amazing. When The Hustle launched, we did a cool story on Dave.

To quote the guy with the porn company who worked outta there: I have no experience as a soldier, but this is the closest I have to that I can imagine. We’re all on this life-or-death march together. On the worst days, Dave will be like, ‘this is what winning feels like, bro.’
