#Article14

Equality before law The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth
Sangh is using the permission of classification in #Article14 to state that the classification is constitutional. But they don't say what are the criteria for that classification.

#Article14 permits classification, so long as it is 'reasonable', but forbids class legislation.
A classification reasonable when

The classification is based upon intelligible differentia that distinguishes persons or things that are grouped from others that are left out of the group, and
The differential has a rational relation with the objective of the act.
CAA doesn't qualify Intelligible differentia or rational relation because

1. They select random countries.
2. They select random religion.

Unless they give a certain criteria the CAA is unconstitutional.
