Abrahamisms are stuck in binaries. Since their “god” has a rival in “Satan”/shaitan it all divides using that lens. Western “liberal” thought that arises from Christianity replicates those binaries. Communism has Bourgeois/proletariat.

Feminism turns into “all men are trash.”
Even when they start to recognize the phenomenon of “othering” they cannot transcend it. This is because the non-dual, the Advaita drishti is unavailable for transcendence.

All movements need an enemy, which becomes a mirror of itself.

Feminism itself becomes patriarchy.
Feminism replicated the power structures of patriarchy, valuing male models of success & achievement.

Indian feminists using Western templates are disconnected from Shakti. They attack Mother Divine traditions on behalf of Abrahamic male god imperialism, as agents of patriarchy.
Western civilization exists by destroying the native, by erasing the feminine. The father, son and the holy ghost has no room for Shakti.

The only archetypes for women are the saint-slut dichotomy. “Mother Mary” exists on the periphery, virginized and devoid of sexual power.
Modern Western movements have some basis in truth, of wishing to escape the binaries. Post-modern thought Focault, Derrida et al search for this but can never really escape.

Even problematizing “slut-shaming” seeks to escape the binary, but cannot, lacking adequate archetypes.
The Indian Left has the worst of both worlds. They reject the Indic, but are unable to comprehend Western thought which is built on the stack of Christian theology. They rail against “imperialism”, but stuck with the social theories from the West, can only become agents of it.
Shakti, fully in her power, has no equivalent in the West. The Church burnt witches—powerful women herbalists embracing feminine sexuality—deeply upsetting for Church patriarchy, which called them harlots bewitching men.

The Indian Left similarly attacks Durga as a “prostitute.”
But am I positing "Western thought" as a binary vs Eastern thought? No, for Abrahamism, the gentile/heathen/kaffir is the other. they define themselves by their negation. It doesn't exist without the other, would schism and create internal conflict to recreate the binary.
For Indic thought, this dichotomy is itself false, coming from the Mosaic distinction. We say "all is one." Another comes and plants a fence saying, no, this side is "saved", you are "condemned." Even if we still insist "all is one" we have to deal with the planted fence.
Indic thought is swayambhu. It has and needs no "other." The Self is all there is.

As when someone asked Raman Maharishi, "What about the others?"

He replied "There are no others."

So this distinction is simply at the level of vyavahara, and not at the level of darshan.
But deracinated Indians learn #CopycatFeminism from academia and Western pop-culture ideas. Trying to “implement” it leaves them deeply unsatisfied because the antagonistic binary is disconnected from reality.

Some pop out of the illusion, other scream “patriarchy” even louder.
To decolonize we need to deconstruct the entire stack of Western social theory based academia.

But you cannot deconstruct using the master’s tools, for this we need our own ground.

The only ground is adhyatma, the ground of the Self. That’s the path to transcend the binary.
Adhyatma is knowledge of the Self. Who am I.

All subsequent knowledge is built on this foundation.

For example, economics uses certain theories of demand, of hierarchy of needs. Psychology uses certain models of the person, Sociology of society.

Without a proper foundation all these models are flawed. This was the brilliance of Indic darshan. There is no “religion”, all of this is experiential.

To access this experience Sadhana is needed.

All Indic paths are about this, choose any. An accessible one is Art Of Living.
