The impeachment trial begins today.
If Senate GOP succeeds in a resolution vote, there may be no new evidence, no existing fact record, no witness testimony and proceedings that stretch past Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
Rep. Schiff: "We can see why this resolution was kept from us and the American people. This is nothing like the process... used in the Clinton trial."
If the Senate were truly following the Clinton precedent, more than 90,000 documents would be provided.
