Schiff corrects Cipollone's false claim that Republicans weren't allowed into the closed-door impeachment hearings. He says, "I'm not gonna suggest to you that Mr Cipollone would deliberately make a false statement...but I will tell you this: he's mistaken. He's mistaken."
Schiff correctly pointed out that the (48) Republican members of the three committees holding the hearings were allowed in. (Non-members stunt-stormed a hearing in October and eventually left.) Schiff added, "And more than that: they got the same (questioning) time we did."
