It's fitting that only hours after John Roberts called for civility, Trump erupted in a supernova of lies and bad faith in Davos. Calls for equivalent norm-adherence are wildly out of sync with the imbalance between both parties' conduct on impeachment. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/…
John Roberts called on both sides to show "equal" civility. But what Dems were saying about the lies from Trump's lawyers and the abuses of power from Trump was correct and in good faith, while Trump's lawyers actually were lying and acting in bad faith:
