French finance minister Bruno Le Maire announces that after meeting with Mnuchin and OECD again this morning they have an agreement to delay digital tax payments/ US tariff retaliation 
We now have a global agreement

I suggest to Lemaire that France has simply acquiesced to aggressive US tariff threats... he responds for France that “we have been tough” in pushing ahead with the first digital tax in the first place and this has pushed negotiations for a global solution
No public text of what was negotiated overnight, but this was negotiated overnight as the basis for oecd global discussions next week:

Asked by BBC if UK should now follow suit & delay digital tax, Le Maire says everyone should work internationally:
“It’s up to UK to decide, but I think that now we have an agreement to work at OECD, best solution is that everyone works on a possible international solution”.
