“They identified that this man was a potential danger to women and wasn't ready to have proper relationships with women but figured that he could then go see sex workers."

This man had bludgeoned and stabbed his girlfriend to death in 2004.

“Gallese had been living in a halfway house since March and had been allowed to have his ‘sexual needs’ met...

The board raised serious concerns about that as a ‘risk management strategy’ but nonetheless listed Gallese's likelihood of reoffending as ‘low to moderate.’”
1. People can live without sex with a partner.

2. Partner sex is a mutual experience, not some maintenance exercise for men.

3. People who promote sex work as a “pragmatic solution” to situations where men can’t otherwise access sex treat women like sewers, not people.
Women are not a resource.

Sex is not a right.

Men who’ve proven they’re violent must be kept away from women.

This story disgusts me. This is a man who’d already killed a woman for rejecting him, but his “sexual needs” (not needs!) were more important than a woman’s life.
