/ As the rising generations come to power, they define the rules. Society always has been, and always will be, this way.
/ "Generations: The History of America's Future," taught me that society is a giant pendulum. The young predictably rebel against the old, recursively putting in place new systems to do better than their parents did: amazon.com/Generations-Hi…
/ Given the rising generations grew up alongside the digital age, it is intuitive to them that the “new systems” that will shape society the most will be digital native.
/ The rules of these digital systems will be established over time, gaining weight as the rising generations move their work, attention & assets to be guided by these rules.
/ And so while it stings now when powerful Boomers dismiss #bitcoin, over time it will matter less and less.
/ What consumers demand will stoke what suppliers supply. If the rising generation votes with its dollars because these economic systems line up more with their virtues, then that will shift value over time.
/ The hype and frenzy can be whizz-bang, as it's all based on expectation that's in the mind only, while adoption requires action and a societal shift in where spacetime is spent. Patience.
/ Having been part of the crypto movement since 2014, a key thing I've learned is the power of patience in an impatient industry 🙂
