#Iran’s media are making much of the plane crash in #Afghanistan. Conservative papers are celebrating it, publishing unverified images of the crash and highlighting the Taliban’s claim to have downed it. Vatan-E Emruz’s headline reads “Enemy’s bloody day” 
It's still not clear what led to the plane crash in Afghanistan and how many casualties there are. The government initially said the plane belonged to national carrier Ariana - but the airline swiftly denied that. The US military has since confirmed one of its planes crashed
The Taliban claimed to have downed the plane and said “many high-ranking CIA officers" were killed. The US has said there are "no indications the crash was caused by enemy fire". Afghanistan's Civil Aviation Authority said the plane reported a technical problem before the crash
Iran’s rolling news channel said: "US authorities have not yet released official casualty figures but the Associated Press, quoting local officials in Ghazni Province in Afghanistan, has announced that nearly 100 corpses have been found at the crash site."
We have not seen any @ap report on the plane crash in Afghanistan saying 100 corpses were found at the crash site.
State TV asserts that senior CIA officer Michael D’Andrea – whom it says had a key role in killing Iranian general Qasem Soleimani – was killed in the crash. The image it’s showing is of actor Fredric Lehne who plays a character based on D’Andrea in the movie Zero Dark Thirty
@AP has also told us that it did not report that nearly 100 corpses had been found at the crash site
