to me, climate tech is anything that helps meaningfully in the effort to decarbonize our global economy

But so is:
- synthetic meat
- new types of insurance to warranty high risk tech breakthroughs & make them fundable
- platforms to help bigcos monitor/report on/improve their footprints

- making buildings more efficient
- software to help cities better manage diverse micromobility transportation fleets

- bundling clean energy purchase financing into home mortgages
- etc etc etc
Some of it is capital light, some capital heavy, some w/ science risk, others without...

And we need more of all of it, so you can debate which class is best fit for which kind of innovation, but don't understimate the role traditional venture can play *for certain types of companies*.
