No one is talking about how Joe Rogan has forced the mask of the democratic party off. For years the democrats have been telling marginalized groups and the left that they HAD to compromise with republicans to "get shit done" by throwing us under the bus.
Democrats haven't done anything of significance for the black community since I've been alive. They've been more harmful than helpful if we're honest. This also goes for the poor, working and middle class of America. They've harmed LGBT, immigrants, as well as been 100% for war.
Bernie comes along, doesn't move an inch on any of his policy proposals or his message and gets Joe Rogan to say "I'll probably vote for Bernie Sanders" and for many the scales have fallen. Bernis isn't endorsing Joe, Joe is endorsing Bernie and elevating Berne's platform
This isn't the other way around, no matter how hard anyone tries to spin it. Joe Rogan has a massive platform and following. Bernie didn't platform Joe, Joe platformed Bernie. It's why EVERY other candidate has begged Joe to get on their show. None of them have denied this claim.
So now, we see that for decades democrats have capitulated to the right and dismissed the left for no reason other than because, quite frankly my dear, they never gave a damn about workers, BIPOC, immigrants, LGBT, or poor people. They love wars, like love that shit.
Dems have gone along with all the wars and even, called the right out on not being tough enough on "terrorist". Dems took us from 2 wars to 7 at the blink of an eye and expanded American Imperialism. They've beefed up the prison industrial complex and sold workers out with NAFTA
It was a democratic presidential administration that had a hand in Libya's destruction and creation of open air slave markets. Now they're using everything they can to keep the front up, because god forbid people wake the hell up to the game that's being played. We all see it.
If anything this entire episode has exposed democrats for who they are. A party that's 100% willing to sell out their base and millions of vulnerable Americans for power. Joe Rogan saying he'll probably vote for Bernie, without having Bernie change any positions is bad? GTFOH
You don't get to have literal segregationist running in your party and play these games. You don't get to go on national tv like Sen. Schumer did and say for every blue collar dem we lose in Ohio, PA, etc we'll gain a moderate dem and pretend outrage. It doesn't work like that.
You don't get to have people like Jennifer Rubin, David Frum, Kissenger, Albright, Tom Watson, et al in your tent as a resistance and feign concern. You can't run candidates like Pete and convince us you truly give a fuck about the black vote.
Anywho, these people are willing to lose to Trump before winning with Bernie because they don't want to change. They don't want to actually make the lives of BIOPC, LGBT, poor, middle and working class people better. They want to continue to hold on to power, whatever the expense
They've been lying and playing us for years. They never needed to capitulate to the right. They could have stayed left and a party for the people this entire time. They just didn't want to.
**edit** Sen Schumer said for every dem vote lost in PA OH, WI, etc they'd gain a mod gop'r. They were actively going for gop votes and dismissed their own base, lost to a clown they intentionally elevated. They were so incompetent they lost to a fucking clown.
