Ya know, I find it really odd that when Warren was questioned by reporters about Trump being a racist, she said she couldn’t answer that because she didn’t know his heart. Buuuut calls Sanders a friend and goes along with this obvious lie and not immediately point it out.
She only started saying Trump is racist when she was called out on social media about it. How are you friends with someone, claim they know you well and ready to jump on camera and go along with it? Does she know something about Sanders character that we don’t?
The more I watch that interview, the more questions I have. It all seems like a ready made talking point. Bernie never went negative about Warren. Even the fake memo was a repeat of what Politico stated in July 2019. Her base is largely affluent, highly educated white people.
Then the “leaks” of Sanders telling her a woman can’t be president and her not immediately shutting that down? Wtf?! Maybe I shouldn’t have thought better of Warren, but I did. This is not coalition building, as her supporters and surrogates love to say.
How’s it going to work, with Warren and her team spreading lies and smears? Say she wins the nomination, does anyone think Sanders supporters will rally, canvass and enthusiastically support her? Cause I don’t think they will.
I gotta be honest and say one of the best surrogates and advisors she has is @adamcbest and @maxberger they’ve done legit good work. I appreciate it and see what they’re doing as a good. I’m not liking this direction. Idk who’s directing this, but please stop.
Adding people like Neera, Tom Watson, David Frum, Jennifer Rubin, and Amy Siskind (excuse incorrect spelling) jumping in and being new Warren voices, this aint a good look. Especially when most Sanders supporters said Warren was their 2nd choice.
I’m not supporting Warren in any way but I’m not going to pretend Trump isn’t an threat. Warren would be a much better president than him should she win the nomination. However, I’m me. Other supporters could be permanently turned off by this. Sadly.
I’m just confused and what the hell’ing over this entire thing. I’m not going to pretend Warren would bring big structural change. I don’t think she believes in it or has the fight in her. I also think this was a very bad political move on her part. You can’t win this way. 🤦🏽♀️
