1/ We believe that staking provides an alternative crowdfunding model which will 100x the size of the height of the ICO bubble.
2/ In 2017, over $10B was invested in and lost to early-stage blockchain startups through the form of Initial Coin Offerings. Crowdfunded staking, however, allows users to retain 100% ownership of their assets and withdraw their total assets at any time.
3/ To achieve a 100x market size, this means for every $1 of capital an investor is willing to lose in an ICO, we believe there is $100 worth of capital an individual is willing to stake into risk-mitigated crowdfunding systems like $XIO.
4/ If this theory proves correct, a trillion-dollar crowdfunded staking market on #DeFi seems extremely feasible and inevitable.
