We could have charged Bribery, which we poll tested and is actually named in the Constitution, is a federal crime as well, but we didn’t, and decided to impeach on “abuse of power”, which isn’t either of those things

We also didn’t include any allegation of Bribery in our 111 page Trial Memo either because this masterplan really hangs together like that
Not a single witness mentioned the word “Bribery” either, and not a single house investigator or member asked about Bribery until the very end of the process

But Bribery is proved! Not only the preponderance of evidence, or just beyond a reasonable doubt, but “beyond ALL doubt”!
This is like watching flat earthers try and prove Elon Musk is a hologram

Lev Parnas doesn’t seem to realize that THERE IS A TRANSCRIPT of the July 25 call. How can *Parnas* “testify that President Trump made clear to Zelensky that investigation into both the 2016 election and the Bidens needed to be announced”. Why know that didn’t happen 🤦🏻‍♂️
Anyway the rest of it says that AG Barr is “involved in the plot” along with Devin Nunes. Wow, amazing!

As expected, Democratic Senators questions appear to be going mostly to House Managers & are solely designed to illicit a repetition of the case against Trump

Highly likely they are coordinated

This nice trick also means no rebuttal from defense team
And GOP doing the same so far

A much better process would have been for Senators to ask questions, with BOTH House Managers and defense team given time to answer the SAME question. The relative quality of the answers against the available evidence could then be determined
What we’ve got here is a little like what happens in Parliamentary systems like England or Australia: where elected officials ask their “team” (eg Prime Minister) a question like: “isn’t it true that our side is brilliant and the other side are dopes?”. Bad Q’s, worse answers

Well, to begin: there are six committees involved in the impeachment parade, which normally would be handled by judiciary. Now we begin to understand why all six. Each House committee has differing subpoena rules. Some, according to latest I could find, like intelligence=
require notification at least if not consultation with ranking minority member, that for intelligence I think would be Nunes when Chair, Schiff, decides to issue subpoena for witnesses or documents like call records. Other committees, like govt oversight do not have the same=
consultation rules, may have differing rules for subcommittees. Easy to find out which committee or sub issued subpoena from House Counsel. Upshot, multiple committees involved to circumvent House intelligence, judiciary subpoena, other evidence gathering committee rules=
