Admire the power of the ecosystem. Two days ago Raghu, a BJP worker was literally hacked to death by an Islamist. Didn't even get a twitter trend. Now a highly suspicious event is created to frame "Hindu terror." No one is seriously injured, but all trends captured, global news.
There is evidence the Congress Party conspired with Pakistan to launch the 26/11 terror attacks to frame "Hindu terror." That is why terrorists wore Hindu thread.

This #Jamia drama is child's play for them.

The bureaucracy is an anglicized, uncreative, British-era institution. It is designed for obstruction and excuses, to lord over people, not serve them.
@narendramodi Modi ji loves the bureaucracy. Even ministers don't have power, only PMO and bureaucracy. Obstruction and corruption is rampant in the rank and file. Bureaucracy loves weak ministers, and "rule-based" governance since *they* make and implement the rules.😏
@narendramodi India has always been highly decentralized. A centralized, controlling, bureaucracy-based approach is exactly the opposite of how India works. Add to that an english-only GST, and technology-based governance, recipe for economic failure.

Where is minimum governance?

Some qualifying remarks follow

Firstly the "new methodology" MPD numbers are to be used only for cross-sectional country comparisons and not for a view of a country's growth over time
Secondly the GDP comparisons for certain country pairs can be problematic. E.g. UK and India given the vastly different consumption baskets and the use of "Grain" in the MPD to measure Indian GDP

Two days ago Kat and I were pulling out of a parking lot and a man knocked on our window holding a large stack of money. He was begging us for a ride to the train station saying someone stole $1,000 from him. We couldn’t do it but while driving away a gun fell out his pants.
The gun was in his socks it looked like and he picked it up and moved it to his belt. Through our conversation and his demeanor he seemed to be suffering from a mental health situation and/or addiction. He then continued walking to other cars.
I think most white people would have called the cops. This man could have been carjacking us but he could have even more likely just been a law abiding citizen suffering through something. If the cops showed up they would have killed him. I of course wouldn’t call.
