Officials are now saying that the verdict in Trump's impeachment trial could be delayed as late as Wednesday.
That means as many as five more days of incriminating information about Trump's extortion scheme his defenders will have to pretend to ignore.

Looks like we have one answer: Trump was instructing Bolton to push his pressure campaign forward as early as May—and Cipollone and Mulvaney were in on it, too.
That means Cipollone, who was the leader of Trump's defense team in the Senate and told some of the most galling lies on Trump's behalf, is now a fact witness to Trump's criminal conspiracy. nytimes.com/2020/01/31/us/…

Still waiting for Sekulow to address this picture of him with Lev Parnas at Trump's hotel the day after Bill Barr's letter lying about the Mueller report.
He also still hasn't answered the question of who's paying Rudy Giuliani, which, based on what we know about his relationship with Parnas and Fruman (and Firtash) seems pretty important

Welcome to today's #Trump #ImpeachmentTrial thread (potentially one of a few)! I've been playing around with tags a little in other tweets this morning but for now, I'm going to stick with the two I've used here. That may change later on, though. Follow/mute at will!
Today is going to be procedural stuff. The Senate will have to approve the (completely BS) rules proposed by McConnell. Dems will offer amendments, of course, but since a simple majority rules I don't have a lot of hope any of the amendments will pass. #Trump #ImpeachmentTrial
For those of you just tuning in, McConnell is proposing that this trial have:

Zero witnesses
Zero admitted evidence
Ridiculously little time set aside for opening arguments and questions.
As little sunlight as possible.
