PS/ This doesn't matter much—but *does* matter. Why? Certain journalists use the "#Resistance" term, concept, and designation to dismiss criticism of Trump as empty branding rather than an expression of one's values. So I'll say it for the millionth time: I'm *not* "#Resistance."
PS2/ Trump is a *media* creation. Media fueled his rise by *choosing* not to adapt journalism to the digital age—giving him a window to slither into American life. So for them on the back end to say, "Yeah, but no one *earnestly* believes him dangerous"—it's all branding—is rich.
PS3/ Others can call themselves "#Resistance" if they wish to—and if you catch the eye of @GQMagazine, they'll use the term to erase your criticism of American autocracy. But I hope most reading this feel—as I do—that we're doing nothing but living our values. This is not a game.
