FWIW, I’m not a @AndrewYang supporter, I’m a supporter of quality journalism, and for the journalistic standards the @nytimes used to have
I mean, seriously: does anybody really think @AndrewYang is sexist and racist?

Let he who has never spoken awkwardly about race and racism be the first to cast stones
If we were to interview everyone who has ever worked with @ByMattStevens would they all tell us that everything he has ever said been perfectly woke?

If we want to get over the horrible history of racism I don’t think this kind of scrutiny of every awkward, half-baked thing that obviously well-intentioned people have ever said is very helpful.
